Ministry of Health, Invites Applications for the  post of STAFF NURSES (females only). According to their website, the details are as given below

Requirements: B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent plus 2 years experience OR Pre-Degree/Higher Secondary  + Diploma in Nursing of 3 years duration + 3 years experience in SCBU/Neonatal ICU, Midwifery, ICU, CCU, A/E, Maternity, Labour Room and Paediatrics.

Only those who are actively practicing in hospitals need apply and not private duty nurses. Preference will be given to candidates with CPR/IV Therapy & Drug competency certificates and post basic education of the above specialty. Only candidates having 3 years or more of speciality experience need apply. Written test and interviews will be held in India. Date and venue will be communicated in the call letter. Applications should reach us within 4 weeks from the date of this advertisement and those applications received after 4 weeks will not be entertained.

Salary: Rials Omani 275/- + 12.5% professional allowance per month. R.O.80/- as cost of living expenses.
BENEFITS:   Accommodation or allowance in lieu with hard furnishings including air conditioners. Water, electricity allowances.  Certain posting places have either of these facilities provided free. Transport allowance, Economy class air-tickets at initial appointment and on final exit.  75 percent of the cost of these tickets are given once during the contractual year for annual leave travel.   Annual leave 38 days. Medical treatment within the Sultanate according to prevailing regulations.
Candidates will be required to serve anywhere within the Sultanate of Oman.  Placement cannot be guaranteed in advance.

  4. Degree Mark sheet / Transcripts for all 3.5 years / 4 years
  5. Copy of the backside on the degree certificate ( for applicants having Afghanistan, Egyptian & Pakistani degrees/certificates)
  6. Certificate of Authenticity and Verification (CAV) for applicants who have studied in Philippines
